COLOR GUARD (Outdoor)
The Ola High School Color Guard is an auxiliary unit that performs with the band at all performances. Utilizing flag, rifle and dance work, this auxiliary unit is a select group that serves to visually portray the music and add another dimension to the image of the band. Each member must audition for membership on the color guard, and auditions for the group are held each spring in April.
WINTERGUARD
The Ola High School Winterguard is a performance ensemble designed to further develop the artistic and technical performance skills during the marching band off-season. Through performance, our students will learn valuable life skills such as teamwork, self-discipline, hard work, and commitment. The Ola Winterguard is a SAPA (Southern Association of Performing Arts) and Winter Guard International (WGI) finalist.
Auditions typically will take place each fall in November.
